Harvesting
Our wide range of skills and 25+ years of experience enables us to undertake all types of harvesting work, which will enhance the woodland and its value.
Our harvesting service is capable of large clearfalls, extensive thinning programmes and is sensitive enough to work in recreational, amenity and sporting woods in areas of high population density as well as the hard to get to remote countryside locations. We work successfully with many woodland owners, private management and Forestry England.
We specialise in all aspects of the forestry work including steep working and wet ground.

Buying the timber
Unlike some of the larger harvesting companies instead of just giving you one set price per ton for all the timber, we optimise each individual tree to maximise the yield of highest value products eg logs, chip, bar & Fencing. We then offer you an individual price for each product. Giving you the fairest financial yield of the harvest.
Timber where ever possible is marketed locally to minimise haulage, thus keeping costs down helping to maximise your return and lowering the carbon foot print.

The Harvesters
The Extraction Vehicles
We run two extraction units.
The first of our extraction units is our purpose built forwarder, which is capable of extracting timber from site quickly and efficiently. |
